This role offers hospitalist opportunities for board certified or board eligible physicians, NP’s, or PA’s to provide hospital coverage at a 272-bed acute care facility in Texas. The position requires internal or family medicine expertise along with certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS, and involves working in a Level IV Trauma Center environment without performing procedures. Highlights:

• 1099 Independent Contractor Position
• 272 bed facility
• Trauma Designation is Level IV
• 18-20 daily census days / 8-10 for nocturnists
• No procedures
• Must have active Texas license -BC or BE in Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Must have ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications

Facility Information:

HCA Houston West is a 272-bed full-service, acute care hospital equipped with a Level IV Trauma Center, Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), an accredited Chest Pain Center, and certified as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission. They offer a wide range of comprehensive services including women’s care, orthopedic care, heart care and cancer care.
