What does a Job Coach do? As a Job Coaching Specialist , you'll play a vital role in guiding individuals through their professional journeys, providing hands-on support as they learn new tasks and develop crucial workplace relationships. Your ability to communicate effectively, think critically, and adapt to diverse environments will be key as you help others navigate their roles, both in community internships and employment settings.In this role, you'll not only coach individuals but also serve as a bridge between our organization and community business partners, fostering inclusive practices and ensuring successful employment experiences. Your strong interpersonal skills, coupled with your knack for problem-solving and time management, will empower you to make sound decisions on the ground.

Providing guidance, support, and training to individuals while they perform their duties in their community internship or place of employment.
Assist with resume writing, job search strategies, interview preparation, and on-the-job-training.
Supporting individuals with learning and navigating professional boundaries and relationships.
Supporting staff team members with job coach training.
Acting as a liaison between community business partners and Mains’l by providing job coaching and inclusive community training.

Pre-employment requirements:
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass a background check through the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Safe and reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Ability to pass a driving record check.
TB (Tuberculosis) Skin Test.
Maximum Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour based on years of experience at Mains'l.
