Shop Manager – Accountabilities and Priorities:
1) Mange the performance, engagement and development of direct reports
a. Onboard new team members
b. Train team members
c. Provide ongoing PDPs to all employees under your supervision
d. Provide performance feedback on a regular basis when required, and manage activities associated with performance improvement
e. Ensure availability of time to provide guidance and support to team
f. Ensure that workload is manageable and appropriate
g. Identify teammates that are ready for the next step in their career
2) Drive business performance
a. Manage and deploy processes for establishing strong framework
b. Co-create and execute on key KPIs
c. Drive membership
d. Attend and actively contribute to team meetings
e. Manage scheduling optimization, and efficient utilization
f. Reduce waste and minimize excessive costs
3) Champion team culture
a. Consistently behave in line with organizational, values, norms, and Lucky 7
b. Champion company standards
c. Contribute to building and sustaining team engagement and morale
d. Celebrate team wins
e. Schedule team development events
4) Ensure all customers experience a high level of service and hospitality
a. Determine what excellence in service and hospitality looks like for all CO locations and ensure that is a consistent experience for all customers
b. Providing coaching and find ways to engage the the team in providing exceptional and consistent standards of service and hospitality.
c. Engage outside resources to showcase best practices in service and hospitality for team
i. Identity people in other fields that exemplify this and engage them speak to team
ii. Utilize team members that demonstrate this to lead/teach by example
5) Community Outreach
a. Implement and assist in local grassroots events to build business and increase customer outreach
b. Engage with like minded brands to generate partnerships for employees
c. Implement charity and/or “give back to community” events
6) Work towards Mastering Shop P&L
a. Work with Brad to understand shop model and different moving parts that include revenue, costs (variable and fixed), and profitability
b. Work towards understanding different levers in shop model and how they contribute to profitability
