Soccer Elite Academy is a leading soccer academy in the Calgary and Edmonton areas that is dedicated to the comprehensive development of young footballers. We provide an environment that combines intensive on-field training with a strong emphasis on personal growth. Our mission is to prepare players for success at whichever levels of the sport they end up attaining, including collegiate, professional, and national team pathways, while fostering their development as well-rounded individuals.

Position: Youth Soccer Coach

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Youth Soccer Coaches to join our coaching staff. As a Youth Soccer Coach at Soccer Elite Academy, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our ambitious young players, instilling in them a love for the game, a strong work ethic, and the technical and tactical skills necessary to progress their game.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, organize, and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate training sessions in line with the academy's coaching philosophy and curriculum.

* Develop individual players' technical skills, tactical understanding, physical capabilities, and psychological resilience.

* Provide constructive feedback and performance evaluations to players.

* Foster a positive, disciplined, and challenging learning environment.

* Communicate effectively with players, parents, and academy staff.

* Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure a consistent and progressive player development pathway.

* Assist with player recruitment and identification as needed.

* Uphold the values and standards of Soccer Elite Academy on and off the field.

* Stay current with best practices in youth soccer coaching and player development.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience coaching youth soccer

* Strong understanding of age-appropriate coaching methodologies and player development principles.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

* Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.

* Knowledge of long-term player development principles.

* Experience working within an academy or similar structured soccer program is an asset.

* A background check and vulnerable sector screening will be required.
